FAQ

  • The tracking number for your order/package will be automatically sent to the registered email address associated with your account. Please double check your spam/junk folders as the email may go into those folders sometimes. Tieoutlet.com/Kissera Corp. is not responsible for any lost/damaged/missing/delayed packages due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, such as, but not limited to; severe weather conditions, negligence, theft and others. Once the order/package has been marked as delivered via the USPS or UPS tracking website, our responsibility for fulfilling the order is complete. If a package is misdelivered or stolen, it is up to you to file a report with USPS or UPS as they have far more information available than we do in terms of who the carrier is, the local weather conditions that may have prevented delivery, and any of the other factors involved with package transit.

  • Issue: Your bank or credit card is showing a pending charge for one or several declined transactions.

    Explanation
    If a debit card or check card is used to make a payment, and the purchase was not accepted for any reason (failed AVS or CCV verification), please be aware that most banks will hold the "authorized" funds (counting against your balance until the authorization clears) even if your order was rejected by our security measures. Such authorizations are merely "pending" charges, and funds will not be transferred because the charge attempt failed our security measures.

    The most common reason for the failed transaction is that both the billing address and the zip code entered do not match the billing address on file with the bank that issued your debit/check/credit card. Our Address Verification System (AVS) security measures will reject any transaction for a billing address mismatch.

    TieOutlet does not have the capability nor the obligation to release the bank's temporary hold on authorized funds. Since we do not have the capability to release the bank’s temporary hold, we can not be responsible for the policies of the customer's banking institution regarding the holding of authorized funds. Please note that authorization fund holds last for varying periods, depending on the issuing credit card company's policy. The period may be as little as 2-3 days (which is the case in an overwhelming majority of these instances) or as long as several months.

    What can you do?
    In most cases, you don't need to do anything, but monitor your funds and watch the pending charges drop off of your statement within a few business days. If you'd like to take additional action, read on.

    The single best thing a customer can do in this situation is to contact their issuing credit card company or bank in order to determine their policy for releasing these pending authorizations. We will be happy to work with your bank to resolve this issue. However, we ask that you please contact your bank first, as many banks have different ways of releasing the pending charges (some will provide a form for us to fill out and return to them, others require a signed letter from us, still others can release funds upon receiving a phone call directly from us).

    Resolution of this issue will be much faster and more efficient if you've already determined the correct course of action to follow in accordance with your bank's policies..

  • We do not accept school purchase orders. We only accept payments through credit cards issued from a US based bank.

  • Please send us an email at [email protected] within a week of receiving your order if you are missing any items from your order. We would like to suggest that once you receive your order, to thoroughly check to see if all items were delivered and nothing is missing. In the case of contacting us after the grace period of a week, we will investigate the issue and see what solutions are available at that time.

  • We are not open to the public walking in to purchase ties. We do not have a storefront or a showroom, so we do not allow customers to purchase ties in person. If you would like to pick up your order, please scroll down to the bottom of this FAQ page to get instructions on how to pick up an order. Thank you.

  • If you are unable to add an item to your cart, it means that we do not have that item in stock at the moment and most likely will have it restocked at a later date (depending on the item).

  • There are no minimums to purchase from us as of 8/7/2018 - Please enjoy the risk free shopping experience!

  • We only accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

  • Unfortunately we do not offer or provide any drop shipping requests.

  • Any order placed before 4:00pm EST will be shipped out the same day (Monday - Friday). This only means that the package will leave our facility this day. The package delivery will take the appropriate amount of days.

  • Because of the great selection of ties we have available for your viewing pleasure available directly from our website, we deem it unnecessary for us to carry catalogs as well.

  • Yes, you will receive a confirmation invoice via email, which will also note your tracking number. You may also find your order details via your My Account page.

  • Yes we do, we offer Next Day, 2nd Day and 3-Day Select via UPS. Please contact us directly @ 201-767-7017 for more information.

  • We do not offer or provide any free shipping. 

  • Your card can be declined for various reasons, such as;
    Insufficient Funds: Please make sure your account has the funds available in your Credit/Debit Account to ensure that your order is processed.
    AVS Mismatch: Always double check to make sure the billing address is correct for the card you're using. Also, spell check your Name, Address and make sure your zip code is set properly according to your actual billing statement.

  • Yes you certainly can if you're around the Tri State area. Place the order on our website and email us to let us know that the order is going to be picked up. Initially you will be charged the shipping fee, however, once we receive the order on our end, we will take off the shipping fee. There is no charge for pick up services, however please note that if you're using 3rd party couriers, messengers and/or generally someone who is not you, we will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items after the products leave our location.
